What happens during the moderation process?

Moderation is a process where the entire cohort is viewed as an entity.

Grades provided will have to fall within a normal distribution curve, and there will be revision of marks that occurs throughout the entire cohort.

Marks will usually be marked down by a fixed amount of marks, it will usually be around 2 - 10 marks, and it will be applied to the entire cohort.

As it is by UK standards, moderation can be stringent and further vetting will be done by external examiners.
