Is deferment permissible? What is the procedure?

Yes. Aventis has a set maximum deferment period of 1 year. Students ought to email Student Services requesting for deferment.

They will need to fill up the relevant deferment forms, provide evidence for deferment, and pay a fee of $200 (excluding GST). They will also need to inform Aventis of when they plan to defer and when they intend to return to studies.

Approval will take about 4 weeks. Students once deferred, will sign an addendum prior to returning to studies again with Aventis. Aventis will inform the student of the next closest intake dates and will drop a call/contact point with the student prior to that to confirm return to studies.
