Here at Aventis, we have a policy (Exceptional Extenuating Circumstances (EEC) in place to support students in their transition back to academic life. When personal extenuating circumstances, such as learning difficulties or circumstances that can impact a student’s ability to study or submit assignments according to the timetable, rather than seeing them in a position where they might have to withdraw from the program, we allow them to work at an individual pace within broad deadlines where applicable.
Valid reasons include business travels, sickness, and other emergencies may be considered in this policy. However, do note that work commitments are not considered for EEC as all of our students are also working adults with working commitments.
In order to request for an assignment extension, you will have to write into student services (feedback@aventisglobal.edu.sg) with your reasons + supporting documents (e.g. medical certificate, invoice, signed consent letter from company) + extension request form. We will process your request, and if successful, will inform you via email with your new extension deadline.
Do take note we only accept extension requests that are sent in at least 3 working days before the assignment deadline.
